GEO Nudy Grey Circle Lenses Review

This is my first pair of circle lens I've ever worn and purchased and they are the GEO Nudy Grey! It was hard to choose one because there were many designs and colours to choose from... I bought these because I've read a couple of reviews saying that it's comfortable, subtle and quite natural looking.

Details
Weight: 100 grams
Manufacturer: Geo Medical
Diameter : 14.0mm
Water Content : 38%
Base Curve : 8.6mm

Enlargement:8/10 These are 14mm I find them make a really big difference to my eye. They make me have a very cute complexion x3

Design:8/10 These are quite pixelated. There is a halo effect when I look to the sides or look upwards. The halo effect is where the light shines into the lense that are on the parts of white of the eye. At first I thought it made me look like an alien haha but when I got used to it, it does look kinda natural from far away.

Colour:7/10 These look more Darkish blue than grey to me. My natural eye colour is hazel (light brown with a slight green on the outside then a dark ring on the outside of my iris) so I can see my brown iris in the middle between the pupil and the lens. It sort of blends.

Comfort:7/10 The first few times I wore these they were VERY comfortable :)   But when I wore them outside my right eye started to dry out and it felt like something was pricking my eye. I put in some eye drops and blinked a couple of times and it was fine after that. I wear them for college sometimes  and sometimes it makes my eyes water and the pricking starts again :/

Overall:- They are really good for first time wearers. They are rather natural in a way from a distance and they are quite comfortable. I must wear make up otherwise I would look alien because the eyes are just too big. The make up evens it out to make it look more natural.

These were took next to the window...

So... these are the GEO Nudy Greys ^^

My eye without the lens.

My eye with the lens.

One eye with the lens and one without.

Wearing both lenses.

Lens with makeup.

Both lenses with makeup.

Indoors with flash. I kept blinking when the flash flashes directly into my eyes so I looked downwards.

Compliments...

I went to college with them on a few times and one of my colleagues told me "Your eyes are really pretty!" I told her that I'm wearing lenses she said, "I couldn't tell, they looked natural from a distance. But when I was quite close I could see a weird combination of colours... Your eyes are brown in the middle then blends to grey and then a dark ring haha" I had a couple of compliments from my other colleagues too.

My First Experience...

Right... I was so stressed about whether they would suit me, what I would look like with them on, whether it would hurt when I put them in my eyes and many other silly questions... Since it's the first time I've ever worn contacts, I chose these natural ones because I didn't want to wear something that catches people's attention on my eyes. I bought theses as an experiment on what circle lenses are and what they're like. I'm the first out of anyone I know to know about circle lenses. I found out about them from japanese models like Tsubasa Masuwaka, noticing that her eyes are HUGE which questions me like "how?? :S"
and that's how it all started :L

Fobbybarbie.com:

I purchased these from Fobbybarbie.com in late August 2011 and it took around 2 weeks and a few days to reach me. Fobbybarbie is from Malaysia and I'm from the UK so I expected it to arrive rather late. I thought their customer service was alright because they answered my questions about the payment rather quickly. When the package arrived to me, I thought the packaging was terrible. It came in a thin brown envelope with just the vials inside with one small and thin piece of bubble wrap wrapped around it. The lenses could have been damaged since it was from a far away place and in such a thin layer of protection. However, they arrived safely and the GEO authenticity sticker was valid so its safe to wear and they aren't fake ^^

I ordered a couple more lenses around December 2011 and I will be doing reviews on them soon ^^

Much love, OrigiriRiceBunny xx
